Hi! I'm
Daniela Guada
Video Editor & Graphic Designer
Video editing has been a passion of mine since I was little. I began as a self taught creator, but soon became part of West Broward's Television Production Program. Throughout my time in high school, I won two 2nd place awards at Student Television Network. There I learned resilience, perseverance, and consistency are key ingredients for creating content.
I continued my education at the University of Central Florida. My major was Radio and Television on the Production Track with two minors. One in Film and the other in Legal Studies. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in December of 2019.
While in college, I participated in various clubs, projects, and productions that honed my skills tremendously.
As a freshman, I joined the Chinese American Student Association. I filmed their dance group and edited recruitment videos to increase membership for a full year.
In 2018, I interned at WUCF, a Central Florida PBS station. My work consisted of editing and writing promotional spots for audio and visual formats.
During my senior year, I produced product videos for a local Orlando ice cream parlor called Rolled Ice Cream. The video I created is still being used today.
That same year, I was also the technical director for a student live show called "Storming the Castle". My job entailed operating the switcher, striking down the set, and teaching newcomers how to use studio equipment.
Throughout my college career, I have been credited as the behind the scenes photographer in three UCF student films.
After graduating, I was hired as a school photographer for Teddy Bear Portraits. The job entailed taking pictures of children and selling those photos to their parents.
I got hired as a production assistant for the radio show "Into Tomorrow" where I wrote spots and created videos like Tech Tidbits and Into Gaming for their website and YouTube Channel.
I continued expanding my skillset by applying them to the legal world as a Media Forensic Analyst and Office Manager for Forensic Data Services. There I edited audio, photos, and videos of surveillance cameras to be used in active legal cases.
My last place of employment was at LaserStar Technologies in Orlando Florida. There I worked as the Marketing Content Coordinator where I created internal instructional videos and marketing content for social media, trade shows, and email campaigns.
I have 12 years of editing experience as of 2023. I am certified in Adobe Premiere Pro and am capable of using the rest of the Adobe Creative Cloud efficiently such as After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dimension, and Bridge.
Final Cut Pro is another software I am comfortable using. Based on my previous work, I work best in teams. Bouncing ideas off of others is the environment I work best in. However, I am always looking for new work, projects, and opportunities to expand my creativity and skills.
